This Privacy Policy describes how Standard Barbershop Inc ("we," "us," or "our"), located at 8937 Reseda Blvd, Northridge, CA 91324, collects, uses, and discloses information in connection with this website (the "Site"). This policy applies to visitors of the Site and does not apply to information we may collect through other means, such as in person at our shop.

The Site includes a contact form that asks for your name, email address, phone number, and message. When you submit the form, this information is transmitted directly to our business email inbox so a member of our team can read and respond to it. We use this information only to respond to your inquiry, schedule or discuss appointments, and for our own business recordkeeping. Submitting the contact form does not sign you up for promotional marketing, and we do not use pre-checked marketing consent boxes.

If you follow a "Book Now" link on the Site, you will be taken to our third-party appointment-booking provider (Square Appointments) to complete your booking. Any information you enter there is collected directly by Square under its own privacy policy, not by us.

Like most websites, our hosting and security infrastructure may automatically log standard technical information when you visit the Site, such as your IP address, browser type, device information, and the pages you request. This information is used for security, abuse prevention, and to keep the Site running reliably.

We do not currently use analytics tools (such as Google Analytics) or advertising pixels (such as Meta Pixel, Google Ads, or TikTok Pixel) on this Site. If that changes in the future, this policy will be updated before those technologies are activated, consent will be obtained where required, and they will be described below.

The Site currently uses the following categories of technology:

• Necessary: a session cookie is set only for authenticated staff members who log in to our private administrative dashboard. This cookie is not set for ordinary visitors browsing the public Site.
• Functional: our contact form uses Google reCAPTCHA to help prevent spam and abusive submissions, and our contact page embeds a Google Maps iframe so you can find our location. Both may cause your browser to communicate with Google; see "Third-party services" below.

Because the Site does not currently use analytics or advertising cookies, we do not display an interactive cookie-consent banner. Our privacy architecture is built to support one if we introduce analytics or advertising technology in the future, and this policy will be updated first.

We work with the following service providers, each of which processes data under its own privacy policy:

• Google reCAPTCHA — helps us detect spam and automated abuse of the contact form.
• Google Maps — displays our shop location on the contact page.
• Resend — delivers your contact-form submission directly to our business email inbox. This is the primary way your message reaches us.
• Supabase — manages authentication for our staff administrative dashboard. Our systems also attempt to log a copy of each contact-form submission to an internal record-keeping database; this secondary record is not always successfully retained, so please do not rely on it as your only proof of contacting us — email (see Resend above) is our reliable channel.
• Square Appointments — powers our online booking system, linked from "Book Now" buttons on the Site.

The Site also links to our Instagram, Facebook, and Yelp profiles. These are external sites operated by third parties; visiting them is governed by their own privacy policies, not this one.

We share information only with the service providers described above, to the extent necessary for them to provide their services to us, and as required by law (for example, in response to a valid legal request). We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for cross-context behavioral advertising.

Contact-form submissions are delivered to our business email inbox and are retained there for as long as reasonably necessary to respond to your inquiry and for legitimate business recordkeeping purposes, consistent with our general email retention practices. You may ask us to delete your submission at any time using the contact information above.

We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards to protect information submitted through the Site, including restricting access to our administrative dashboard to authenticated staff accounts. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to know what personal information we have collected about you, to request correction or deletion of that information, and to opt out of certain uses. To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the information above. We will respond to verifiable requests consistent with applicable law.

We do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising, so a "Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information" link is not currently applicable to this Site. Where legally required to honor Global Privacy Control or other recognized browser opt-out signals, we will do so; a default advertising-consent setting will never be used to override such a signal.

Consistent with the California Online Privacy Protection Act (CalOPPA), this policy describes the categories of personal information we collect (identifiers such as name, email, and phone number submitted through our contact form), the purposes for which we use it (responding to inquiries and business recordkeeping), and how to contact us with questions.

Additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA) apply to businesses that meet certain statutory thresholds. We have not independently confirmed whether those thresholds apply to our business; if you believe the CCPA/CPRA applies to you and wish to make a request, contact us and we will respond appropriately.

The Site is intended for use by adults arranging services for themselves or their family members and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children through the Site. If you believe a child has submitted personal information to us without parental consent, contact us and we will delete it.

The Site contains links to third-party sites we do not control, including social media profiles and our booking provider. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites. We encourage you to review their privacy policies before providing information to them.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time, including before introducing any new analytics, advertising, or data collection technology to the Site. We will update the "Last updated" date above when we do. This policy does not create any certification, guarantee, or warranty of legal compliance.
